DEVELIXIR ELITE V2.2 — QR RITUAL GUIDE SYSTEM
1. RITUAL INTRODUCTION
Sometimes the Simplest Ritual Is the One You Return to Most
Not every ritual begins with oil warming between the palms.
Not every preparation needs a bowl of herbs.
Sometimes it begins with something much lighter.
The delicate character of rose.
A little floral water.
A quiet moment of freshness in the middle of an ordinary day.
Gulab Arka is one of the simplest preparations in the DevElixir skin ritual system.
And that simplicity is its beauty.
Use it as a gentle floral refresh.
Bring it into selected freshly prepared Lepa rituals.
Or simply let it be what it is:
a traditional rose distillate with one clear purpose at a time.
No elaborate routine required.
Refresh. Pause. Continue.
2. WHAT THIS PREPARATION IS
Gulab Arka is a traditional rose distillate prepared for simple botanical skin and wellness rituals.
Unlike an oil, Ghritam or Lepa, it is naturally light and water-like.
Within the DevElixir ritual system, Gulab Arka can occupy two especially useful positions:
Daily Floral Refresh
and, where appropriate,
Preparation Medium for Selected Facial Lepas
It is not:
✕ a perfume
✕ a synthetic rose-scented toner
✕ an essential oil
✕ a facial oil
✕ a cream
✕ a medical skin treatment
Its purpose is intentionally uncomplicated.
3. IS THIS RIGHT FOR YOU?
Choose Gulab Arka if you are looking for:
✓ A simple botanical facial refresh
✓ A light daily ritual
✓ Traditional rose-water care
✓ A floral alternative to heavier skincare textures
✓ A preparation companion for selected DevElixir Lepas
✓ A quiet addition to a minimal skincare routine
✓ A refreshing ritual during warm or tiring days
✓ A traditional floral-wellness experience
Choose another ritual if you specifically want:
Pre-bath radiance oil care
→ Nalpamaradi Kera Tailam
Pre-bath skin comfort
→ Eladi Tailam
Fresh weekly complexion care
→ Choose an appropriate DevElixir Lepa
Rich evening nourishment
→ Kumkumadi Ghritam
Gulab Arka does not need to compete with them.
It has a lighter job.
4. WHO IT'S FOR
Gulab Arka may suit adults seeking:
✓ Simple daily botanical care
✓ Floral refresh rituals
✓ Lightweight skin rituals
✓ Traditional rose-water use
✓ A refreshing step during the day
✓ A preparation medium for selected Lepas
✓ Minimalist skincare
✓ A gentle sensory ritual without oil richness
Its simplicity can also make it useful for people who do not want every skincare moment to become a complete routine.
5. WHO SHOULD BE MORE CAUTIOUS / AVOID?
Rose may feel familiar and gentle, but botanical does not automatically mean suitable for everyone.
Use additional care if you have:
• a known sensitivity to rose preparations
• highly reactive skin
• active facial irritation
• broken or infected skin
• a diagnosed skin condition currently under treatment
• previously reacted to floral waters or botanical preparations
If the skin is actively inflamed, painful or unusually reactive, address that concern appropriately rather than assuming another cosmetic product is what it needs.
6. BEFORE YOU BEGIN
For a simple refresh ritual, very little preparation is required.
Begin with:
✓ Clean hands
✓ Gulab Arka
✓ Clean skin where appropriate
✓ A clean cotton pad only if you prefer one
For Lepa preparation, additionally have:
✓ Your chosen DevElixir Lepa
✓ A clean, dry bowl
✓ A clean, dry spoon
Prepare only what you need for that ritual.
7. WHAT YOU NEED
FOR A SIMPLE FLORAL REFRESH
Gulab Arka
and clean hands.
Depending on the final pack format, apply using the intended dispenser or place a small amount onto clean hands/cotton before applying gently.
FOR LEPA PREPARATION
You need:
Gulab Arka
One selected DevElixir Lepa
A clean bowl
A clean spoon
Nothing more needs to be added simply because the ritual is Ayurvedic.
8. HOW MUCH TO USE
For Facial Refresh
Use only enough to lightly moisten the skin.
The face does not need to be dripping wet.
If using cotton, moisten it lightly rather than saturating it unnecessarily.
For Lepa Preparation
Do not measure a large quantity of Gulab Arka in advance.
Instead:
Add a little at a time.
Mix.
Check the consistency.
Add a few more drops only if needed.
The Lepa—not the liquid—is what determines how much preparation medium is required.
9. EXACT PREPARATION
Gulab Arka itself is ready to use.
For Floral Refresh
Dispense a small amount according to the pack format.
Apply gently to suitable external facial skin.
Allow it to settle naturally.
For Lepa Preparation
Place the selected Lepa powder in a clean bowl.
Add a little Gulab Arka.
Mix.
Add more gradually until the Lepa becomes smooth and spreadable.
Then use the freshly prepared Lepa immediately.
Do not mix Lepa powder directly into the Gulab Arka bottle.
10. CORRECT CONSISTENCY
Gulab Arka itself should remain:
Clear and water-like in character.
It should not behave like:
a gel,
an oil,
a cream,
or a thick serum.
When used to prepare a Lepa, the correct consistency refers to the finished Lepa paste.
That paste should be:
Smooth • Moist • Spreadable • Stable enough to remain on the skin
—not watery and not stiff.
11. STEP-BY-STEP RITUAL
PATHWAY A — DAILY FLORAL REFRESH
STEP 1 — BEGIN SIMPLY
Use on appropriate clean skin.
↓
STEP 2 — DISPENSE
Take a small amount.
↓
STEP 3 — APPLY GENTLY
Lightly moisten the facial skin.
↓
STEP 4 — PAUSE
Allow the freshness and floral character to become part of the moment.
↓
STEP 5 — CONTINUE
There is no requirement to add several products afterwards.
Refresh → Pause → Continue
PATHWAY B — FRESH LEPA PREPARATION
Choose one Lepa
↓
Place powder in a clean bowl
↓
Add Gulab Arka gradually
↓
Mix to smooth consistency
↓
Apply according to that Lepa's QR ritual guide
↓
Rinse
↓
Pat dry
One preparation. One ritual.
12. WHERE TO APPLY
For a floral refresh, apply gently to suitable external facial skin.
Avoid direct application into:
Eyes
Inside the nose
Inside the mouth
Broken skin
Open wounds
Significantly irritated areas
Do not deliberately spray directly into the eyes.
Gulab Arka is a skin/wellness preparation, not an ophthalmic product.
13. HOW LONG / WHEN TO RINSE
For a simple floral refresh, Gulab Arka does not generally need to be immediately rinsed away.
Allow the small amount applied to settle naturally.
If it causes discomfort, rinse with clean water.
When used in a Lepa:
Follow the specific Lepa guide for application and rinsing.
Gulab Arka does not convert a rinse-off Lepa into a leave-on preparation.
14. HOW OFTEN
Because this is a simple floral refresh ritual, it may fit naturally into regular care.
For example:
Once or twice during the day when desired
or as part of your usual skincare rhythm.
When used with a Lepa, follow the frequency of the Lepa, not the frequency of Gulab Arka.
A weekly Lepa remains a weekly Lepa even when prepared with rose distillate.
15. BEST TIME TO USE
Gulab Arka can belong to several quiet moments:
Morning
for a fresh beginning.
During the Day
when you want a light botanical refresh.
Evening
as part of a simple cleansing-and-refresh rhythm.
During Lepa Preparation
when it is the chosen preparation medium.
There is no need to create a strict clock around such a simple ritual.
16. AGE GUIDANCE
Gulab Arka should follow the age guidance on the approved DevElixir product pack.
Do not automatically extend facial or baby use to newborns or young children simply because rose water is traditionally familiar.
For infants and young children, the dedicated DevElixir baby-care system provides the clearer pathway.
17. FIRST-TIME USER GUIDANCE
The first ritual should be minimal.
Patch test first if you are new to the preparation or have reactive skin.
Then:
Use a small amount.
Apply to a limited suitable area.
Do not introduce several unfamiliar products at the same time.
Notice:
How the skin feels.
How you experience the natural floral character.
Whether any irritation develops.
If everything feels comfortable, continue according to your preferred ritual.
18. TEXTURE + SENSORY EXPERIENCE
Clear. Light. Floral. Fresh.
Gulab Arka should feel very different from DevElixir's Tailam and Ghritam preparations.
Expect:
A water-light texture
A delicate floral sensory character
No oily coating
No creaminess
No heavy residue
A simple feeling of freshness
The rose character should feel botanical rather than like a modern perfume.
Its luxury comes from simplicity.
19. NATURAL VARIATION IS NORMAL
A traditional botanical distillate may show subtle natural differences in its floral character from batch to batch.
Minor variation in:
Natural aroma
and other characteristics consistent with the approved preparation may occur.
But “natural” should never become an excuse for a compromised product.
Do not dismiss as normal:
Unexpected cloudiness if the product is normally clear
Visible contamination
Foreign particles not characteristic of the approved product
Unusual or spoiled odour
Damaged packaging
A compromised seal
If the preparation appears abnormal, discontinue use and contact DevElixir.
20. COMPLETE BOTANICAL INGREDIENT STORY
GULAB — ROSE
Rosa damascena
Rose has accompanied Indian beauty, wellness and ceremonial traditions for generations.
But Gulab Arka is not simply about the romantic idea of a rose.
Its character comes from distillation.
The aromatic qualities of the flower are carried into a delicate water-based preparation, creating a ritual very different from rose essential oil or synthetic rose fragrance.
Within DevElixir, Gulab Arka represents the lighter side of botanical care:
Floral Freshness • Gentle Ritual • Traditional Beauty Heritage
For the live QR guide, the ingredient declaration and preparation terminology should remain exactly aligned with the approved DevElixir manufacturing and label record.
21. WHY THIS PREPARATION IS SO SIMPLE
Some formulations tell their story through many botanicals.
Gulab Arka tells its story through restraint.
Rose
provides the botanical identity.
Distillation
creates the preparation form.
Water-Light Application
gives it its everyday ritual character.
Together:
Rose + Traditional Distillation + Simplicity
become the ritual.
There is no need to make it sound more complicated than it is.
22. WHAT TO EXPECT
Expect:
✓ A light, water-like preparation
✓ A natural floral character
✓ A simple refreshing ritual
✓ Little or no heavy residue
✓ No oil-like richness
✓ Easy integration into everyday care
✓ A useful preparation medium for selected Lepas
✓ A ritual that takes only moments
Sometimes the preparation you use most is the one that asks the least from you.
23. WHAT NOT TO EXPECT
Do not expect:
✕ Instant skin brightening
✕ Pigmentation removal
✕ Acne treatment
✕ Pore shrinking
✕ Skin whitening
✕ Permanent skin-tone change
✕ A strong perfume experience
✕ The richness of a serum or moisturiser
✕ Medical treatment for redness or irritation
✕ Rose water alone to replace an entire skincare routine where other care is genuinely needed
Refreshing Does Not Mean Treating.
Gulab Arka can have a beautiful role without needing exaggerated promises.
24. IMPORTANT SAFETY
For external use only unless the approved product label explicitly states another intended use.
Avoid direct contact with the eyes.
Do not deliberately spray into the eyes, nose or mouth.
Do not apply to broken or significantly irritated skin.
Do not use if you know you are sensitive to rose preparations.
Keep the bottle and dispenser clean.
Do not dilute the original bottle with water.
Do not add Lepa powder or other ingredients directly into the bottle.
Discontinue if meaningful irritation develops.
25. PATCH TEST GUIDANCE
For first use, especially with reactive skin:
Apply a small amount to a limited area of intact skin.
Allow it to remain as you normally would.
Observe for approximately 24 hours, where practical.
Do not proceed with broader use if you notice persistent:
Redness
Burning
Itching
Swelling
Rash
or significant discomfort.
A patch test is a useful precaution, not a guarantee against every possible future reaction.
26. WHEN TO STOP USING / SEEK PROFESSIONAL ADVICE
Stop using and rinse if you experience:
Persistent burning
Significant itching
Swelling
Marked redness
Rash
or another concerning reaction.
Seek appropriate professional advice for persistent:
Facial redness
Inflammation
Pigmentation changes
Acne
Painful skin symptoms
Allergic reactions
or another condition requiring diagnosis.
A refreshing botanical ritual should never delay appropriate healthcare.
27. STORAGE + FRESHNESS
Store Gulab Arka:
Cool
Dry
Away from direct sunlight
With the cap or dispenser securely closed
Keep the opening clean.
Do not introduce water, Lepa powder, fingers or other cosmetic products into the original bottle.
Do not transfer used product back into the container.
Follow any additional storage instructions printed on the pack.
28. SHELF-LIFE / PACK GUIDANCE

32. DO NOT AUTOMATICALLY COMBINE WITH
There is usually no need to combine Gulab Arka simultaneously with every:
Tailam
Lepa
Ghritam
serum
cream
or facial preparation.
When preparing a Lepa, use Gulab Arka only where that preparation pathway is appropriate.
Do not mix it directly into:
Nalpamaradi Kera Tailam
Eladi Tailam
Kumkumadi Ghritam
or the original jar of dry Lepa.
Different preparation forms deserve their own ritual space.
33. ALTERNATIVE RITUAL PATHWAYS
PATHWAY 1 — SIMPLE DAILY REFRESH
Gulab Arka
Light. Floral. Minimal.
PATHWAY 2 — WEEKLY FRESH LEPA
Use Gulab Arka as an approved preparation medium with one selected Lepa:
Siddharthakadi Lepa
Refining / uneven-looking tone
Raktachandanadi Lepa
Soothing / radiance
Jathiphaladi Lepa
Clarifying / blemish-prone
PATHWAY 3 — PRE-BATH RADIANCE
Nalpamaradi Kera Tailam
A separate oil ritual.
PATHWAY 4 — PRE-BATH COMFORT
Eladi Tailam
A separate nurturing oil pathway.
PATHWAY 5 — EVENING NOURISHMENT
Kumkumadi Ghritam
A separate evening ritual.
One collection does not mean one application.

39. DEVELIXIR FINAL PHILOSOPHY
Not Every Beautiful Ritual Needs Many Ingredients
A rose does not need much explanation.
Perhaps that is why rose water has remained close to beauty rituals for so long.
There is no bowl to prepare when you simply want a little freshness.
No oil to massage.
No mask to wait for.
No long sequence to remember.
Just a little floral water and a moment.
Some days Gulab Arka may sit beside a bowl while you prepare your Lepa.
On another day, it may be the only thing you reach for.
Both can be complete rituals.
Because caring for yourself does not become more meaningful simply because it contains more steps.
Sometimes beauty can be almost weightless.
A little rose.
A little freshness.
Then back to your life.
Simple enough for an ordinary day. Beautiful enough to become a ritual.
40. ROOTED IN TRADITION. CRAFTED FOR YOU.
